We have multiple advisory councils that provide our Board of Directors with strategic advice.
Each council is comprised of thinkers, doers, and makers who are passionate about helping us transform the library professional development landscape.

Programmatic, Advisory, and Advocacy Council
The Programmatic, Advisory, and Advocacy Council is convened by the Board of Directors for the purpose of responding to the needs and interests of event participants.
Council members advise on current trends and issues impacting library and library adjacent work. Their advice and expertise directly supports the professional development activities offered by The Library Collective and helps to shape the organization's public policy initiatives.

Global Development Advisory Council
The Global Development Advisory Council is charged with fostering the development of global partnerships and supporting The Library Collective’s goal of enhancing learning opportunities for library workers across the world.
Council members guide the Board of Director's efforts to establish a network of global learning partners and with strengthening professional education programs through the creation of globally diverse Library Collective programming.

Executive Committee Advisory Council
The Executive Committee Advisory Council is responsible for supporting the Board of Director’s Officers by providing leadership expertise and insight from a range of private and nonprofit sectors.
Council members provide mentorship and recommendations for setting benchmarks, building partnerships, and strategically positioning The Library Collective for sustainable growth and long-term success.
